iAlsace is an IT consulting and training company based in Strasbourg, focused on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and business software. I work with independents, small and medium-sized businesses, associations, local authorities and higher education institutions in the Strasbourg area.
Who I am
I'm Julien Jakubowicz. I spent 20 years in IT consulting firms in eastern France, in Belfort, Mulhouse and Strasbourg: first as a developer, then as a technical and functional project manager (business analyst), and over the last three years as a business manager. Moving from project to project, I learned to listen, to understand how a business really runs, to imagine solutions people like and that work, and to handle the urgent without ever sacrificing the important. Selling, which I long saw as a mystery, became concrete in my last role, and in 2026 I made iAlsace my full-time activity.
I also teach project management, ERP, Agile and test planning at CESI, an engineering school. My courses are built on workshops and running case projects, so students practise instead of memorising.
What I do
AI training. The European AI Act requires organisations to ensure their staff have sufficient AI literacy. I deliver hands-on training, on site or remotely, on using generative AI safely: writing effective prompts, good practices, cyber hygiene, and what the AI Act means for a small organisation.
AI solutions for business tasks. I design and build AI solutions that cut the time spent on low-value tasks and help teams organise their high-value work. Examples: automatic acknowledgement and follow-up emails, or putting to use the knowledge buried in a company's files.
IT and AI governance. Choosing the right tools, setting rules of use, and keeping control over where your data goes.
ERP and CRM. Scoping and configuring business software, drawing on twenty years of functional project work.
Cybersecurity for small organisations. For ten years I have helped people who start from zero put basic IT hygiene and protection in place.
Support. I maintain the solutions I deliver, so they keep running once they are live.
How I work
I design, AI generates, I validate: every solution is designed by me, produced with the help of AI, and checked by me before delivery.
Security first: passwords and keys stay out of the code, and your business rules stay out of the AI model.
Tested and documented: each delivery comes with its tests and its documentation, handed over to you.
Hosting of your choice: a shared server or your own premises.
Responsiveness: your questions get quick answers.
What I stand for
Local by choice. I work with organisations in the Strasbourg area, which keeps business local and limits travel. When I do travel, it is by bike or public transport.
More women in tech. I run talks and workshops for professionals, students, and high school and middle school girls, because the digital sector is still far too male.
The environmental cost of AI. I talk about it openly with my clients. Alongside the big platforms, I offer committed European hosting providers such as Infomaniak, or OVHcloud, which hosts data right here in Strasbourg.
Partners. I work with a network of independents and small firms, each strong in its own field, such as data marketing, marketing and consulting for the printing industry. I am also involved in Alsace Digitale, La Ruche and the CCI of Strasbourg.
