AIR&D est une société strasbourgeoise qui met la modélisation scientifique et l'intelligence artificielle au service de l'environnement, autour de deux expertises. La première est la modélisation physique haute-fidélité par mécanique des fluides numérique (CFD), dédiée à la qualité de l'air et aux îlots de chaleur urbains. La seconde est l'intelligence artificielle environnementale, appliquée à la prévision des crues, à la reconnaissance acoustique des chauves-souris, à la qualité de l'air et à d'autres thématiques. Sur le volet air, AIR&D associe les deux approches pour des outils à la fois précis et opérationnels. Engagée dans des projets soutenus par France 2030, AIR&D contribue à faire émerger une nouvelle génération d'outils environnementaux.

AIR&D is a Strasbourg-based company that brings scientific modelling and artificial intelligence to environmental challenges, built around two areas of expertise. The first is high-fidelity physical modelling through computational fluid dynamics (CFD), dedicated to air quality and urban heat islands. The second is environmental artificial intelligence, applied to flood forecasting, acoustic recognition of bats, air quality mapping and other topics. For air specifically, AIR&D brings the two together to deliver tools that are both accurate and operational. As a participant in projects backed by France 2030, the country's national investment plan for innovation, AIR&D is helping bring forward a new generation of environmental tools.
