AI Cross-Border Living Lab for Health Innovation
Head of Life Sciences at SouthwestX Innovators

About
I am looking for partners to jointly develop an AI Cross-Border Living Lab for Health Innovation across Germany, France and Luxembourg.
The ambition is to create a collaborative real-world environment where AI startups, healthcare providers, researchers, industry and regulatory experts can develop, test and validate innovative AI-based healthcare solutions.
Building on the European AI Act and emerging AI regulatory sandbox structures, the Living Lab aims to bridge the gap between innovation, clinical reality and regulatory requirements. It should provide access to real-world healthcare environments and expertise in areas such as interoperability, robustness, cybersecurity, risk management and human oversight.
We are particularly interested in cooperation with:
-
Hospitals, clinics and healthcare providers
-
AI, MedTech and Digital Health startups
-
Research and technology organizations
-
Regulatory, clinical and data experts
-
Technology and infrastructure providers
-
Investors, corporates and innovation ecosystems
The objective is not only to create a testing environment, but to establish a cross-border European innovation platform for trustworthy AI in healthcare, accelerating the journey from research and prototype to clinical validation and market access.
I would be delighted to meet partners at AIxAI who are interested in co-developing, contributing expertise, providing real-world testing environments or connecting their innovation ecosystem to this initiative.
