AI in Finance and Controlling: predictive, self-learning forecasts and autonomous agents

We run the finance and controlling backbone of a 100-year-old industrial group with 8.4 billion euros in revenue and five business segments. That means planning, forecasting, reporting and consolidation at serious scale. And we believe most of it can work fundamentally smarter.

We are looking for partners to build with us, not just sell to us. Concretely, we want to explore:

Predictive Finance. Forecasts for sales, cash flow, raw material costs and P&L that learn from data instead of relying on gut feeling and Excel history. Driver-based, self-correcting, always current.

Agentic Finance. Autonomous agents that take over real controlling work: variance analysis that explains itself, month-end closing checks that run on their own, commentary drafted before the controller even opens the report. From copilot to colleague.

Anything we haven't thought of yet. If you have a use case that made a finance function faster, sharper or more forward-looking, we want to see it.
